Shantanu Maheshwari is an Indian actor, dancer, and choreographer who came into the spotlight after playing the lead role of Swayam Shekhawat in the teen drama TV series Dil Dosti Dance (2011–2015). He has also participated in numerous reality TV series and was the winner of the 8th season of the stunt-based reality TV show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. In 2015, he had triumphed, with his dance crew Desi Hoppers, in that year’s edition of the popular competition-based reality TV show World of Dance. He hosted, in 2018, the kid’s talent-search reality show India’s Best Dramebaaz. In 2019, he was invited as a celebrity contestant on the dance competition-based reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 and was the 2nd runner-up in the season finale.

1. He has played the male protagonist in the music videos of songs such as Super Girl From China (2015), Aaja Mahi Ve (2018), Haaye Oye (2019), and Gud Khake (2020).
2. In 2015, he played the lead role in the finite TV series Bindass Naach which was made in tribute to his and his dance crew Desi Hoppers‘ victory in the 2015 edition of the competition-based reality TV show World of Dance. Desi Hoppers was the first dance crew to represent India at the show and they managed to win it in their maiden appearance. The crew was also invited to perform an exhibition act at the final of the show’s 2017 edition.
