Tee Higgins studied at Oak Ridge High School, the public high school for Oak Ridge, Tennessee. During his time there, he played gridiron football and had 68 receptions for 1,044 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior.

He was projected as a five-star recruit and initially committed to play college football at the University of Tennessee but eventually changed his decision to Clemson University. Later on, he decided to forgo his final year of eligibility and declared for the 2020 NFL Draft.

  1. In addition to American football, he also played basketball when he was in high school and received scholarship offers to play college basketball from many schools.
  2. In 2017, Tee Higgins played in 13 games as a freshman at Clemson University and had 17 receptions for 345 yards and two touchdowns.
  3. In 2018, he started his sophomore season at Clemson as a starter and registered three receptions for 81 yards in the 44–16 victory over Alabama in the College Football Playoff National Championship. He concluded the season with 59 receptions for 936 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns.
  4. Tee Higgins had 1,167 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns in his junior season and his team finished with a 14–1 record as the team made it all the way to the National Championship which his side eventually lost to LSU by a score of 42–25. In that game, he had a 36-yard rushing touchdown and caught 3 passes for 52 yards.
  5. He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round with the 33rd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He eventually signed his rookie deal, a four-year contract worth $8.6 million, on July 28, 2020.
  6. In Week 1 of the 2020 season, he made his NFL debut with the Cincinnati Bengals in a match against the Los Angeles Chargers.
  7. Tee Higgins went on to record his first three professional receptions for 35 yards with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 of the 2020 season in a match against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football.
  8. He recorded five receptions for 40 yards with the Cincinnati Bengals in a match against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3 of the 2020 season as well as had his first two professional receiving touchdowns in the 23–23 tie.
  9. He went on to conclude his rookie season with 67 receptions for 908 yards and six receiving touchdowns. His record of 67 catches tied with a Bengals rookie record set by Cris Collinsworth in 1981 and the record was broken by rookie wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase the following year with 81 receptions.
  10. Tee Higgins concluded the 2022 season with 74 receptions for 1,029 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns.
  11. In Week 4 of the 2023 season, he suffered a rib injury while playing with the Cincinnati Bengals in a match against the Tennessee Titans. As a result, he was ruled out for the remainder of that game as well as the following week against the Arizona Cardinals.
