1. She was selected to represent Russia at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore in 2010. Although she entered the draw unseeded, Saville progressed to the gold medal match, beating Stefanie Tan, top seed Elina Svitolina, Tang Haochen, and seventh seed Jana Čepelová. She went a set down against Zheng Saisai of China in the final but rallied to win the gold medal. With this win, Saville became the top-ranked junior player by the ITF.
2. At the 2010 US Open, she competed in the junior event as the top seed and progressed through the draw with wins over Lauren Davis, Caroline Price, Tang Haochen, Robin Anderson, and Sloane Stephens to set up an all-Russian final with Yulia Putintseva. She went on to emerge with a two-set victory. She also competed in the doubles event with fellow Russian Irina Khromacheva and they progressed to the semifinal but lost to eventual champions Tímea Babos and Sloane Stephens.
3. After her successful journey in junior tennis, she was awarded a wildcard into the main draw of the WTA Tour event in her hometown of Moscow and faced Ukraine’s Alona Bondarenko. She lost her WTA debut in straight sets and ended the year as the No. 1 junior player and at No. 515 in the WTA rankings.
4. For the first time, Daria Saville qualified for the main draw at a WTA Tour event in June 2012 at the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships. She went on to secure her career-best win, thrashing world No. 35, Yanina Wickmayer, in straight sets but lost in the next round to Kirsten Flipkens.
5. In 2013, she made her Grand Slam debut at the Australian Open as she played in the qualifying draw in Brisbane. She upset Mariana Duque Mariño in the first round, before losing to Vania King.
6. She participated in the Qatar Ladies Open (a Premier-5 level event) in February 2013. She defeated Kristina Barrois in the qualifying draw but then lost to Tadeja Majerič. She later returned to the draw as a lucky loser and defeated Anabel Medina Garrigues in the first round. She then went on to play her first match against a top-ten player in world No. 2, Serena Williams, in the second round and lost in straight sets.
7. In October 2013, she underwent a knee reconstruction and finished the 2013 season ranked No. 144.
8. Daria Saville qualified for the Pan Pacific Open in September 2014 and reached the second round but was defeated by Carla Suárez Navarro.
9. She started the 2015 season by competing at the Brisbane International. She lost in the second round to third seed Angelique Kerber.
10. After defeating top seed Irina Falconi in the final, she emerged as the winner of the $50k Burnie International in Australia in February 2015.
11. After beating Dominika Cibulková in three sets, Saville won her debut WTA Tour title at the Connecticut Open in August 2017.
