1. In the year 2005, he started his football career in the youth team of Maree/Oranmore FC.
2. Aaron Connolly was 11 years of age when he joined Mervue United‘s youth team.
3. He went on to join the Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion on trial in the summer of 2016 and succeeded in receiving an offer of a two-year scholarship with the under-18 side.
4. When he was 17 years old, he made his debut for the first team with Brighton & Hove Albion as he appeared as a substitute for Tomer Hemed in his side’s 1–0 EFL Cup win over Barnet in August 2017.
