Adam Milne is a New Zealander professional cricketer who has represented his country in both the limited-overs versions of the sport (ODIs and T20Is), as a frontline pace bowler. Although he had made his international debut as far back as December 2010, as an 18-year-old, an injury-ravaged career had limited him to just 40 ODI and 23 T20I matches, as of April 2021. He was included in New Zealand’s probable squad for the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup but was unable to make the cut for the final 15-member squad. 4 years later, he was an integral member of the squad that had reached the final of the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, the first time that New Zealand had achieved the feat. The tournament was bitter-sweet for him as his participation had ended after the quarter-final due to an injury.

Adam Milne Facts
- Adam had made his first-class debut, in the 2009-10 season of the Plunket Shield (New Zealand’s premier first-class tournament), in a match against Canterbury. He had made an immediate impact by taking a wicket with just his 2nd ball in senior cricket, finishing with impressive figures of 4/52.
- Before making his debut in the English domestic circuit with Kent County Cricket Club in 2017, he was already set to play for Essex County Cricket Club in the 2016 season but was forced to withdraw at the eleventh hour due to an untimely injury.
- In 2017, he had played 5 county championship matches and 7 T20 matches for Kent and had picked up an impressive haul of 28 wickets. His figures of 5/11, in a match against Somerset County Cricket Club, had set a new bowling record for Kent in T20 matches. That was also his then-best performance in a T20 match.
- In the New Zealand domestic circuit, he has played for Central Districts (2009-10–Present) throughout his career, across all 3 formats.
- A rare occurrence in modern cricket, Adam has also played domestic cricket outside of his home country representing Kent County Cricket Club (2017–2019) in England.
- A firebrand pace bowler capable of crossing the 150 km/h barrier, he has been featured in franchise-based T20 leagues around the world, turning out for Royal Challengers Bangalore (2016–2017) and Mumbai Indians (2021-Present) in the IPL (Indian Premier League); and Sydney Thunder (2020-21-Present) in the BBL (Big Bash League).
- In an international match in 2014, he had delivered a ball that was clocked at 153.2 km/h.
