In 2017, Alex spent 6 months in detention for showing signs of possessing a drug called Nimetazepam a.k.a. “Happy 5”, which is a hypnotic drug used mostly in clubs. The police also said that they suspected that he had ordered the drug from Malaysia and that it was probably brought through the Soekarno Hatta Airport.
Once, he was beaten up by 8 people at the Crystal Hotel. According to his father, he had gone to the hotel to deliver a set of clothes to a friend.
