2. His game improved by leaps and bounds in the 2014-2015 season as he got an opportunity to work with the iconic Argentine coach, Marcelo Bielsa.
3. In the 2016-2017 season, he managed to win the French league title with AS Monaco. He was the key component of his team’s attacking play, which saw his side score astonishing 107 goals in the domestic league.

In May 2022, he pleaded ‘not guilty’ to 8 charges of rape, 1 of attempted rape, and 1 of s*xual assault. In September 2022, he was found ‘not guilty’ of 1 count of rape and in January 2023, he was found ‘not guilty’ of 6 counts of rape and 1 count of s*xual assault. Benjamin was found not guilty of one charge of rape and one of attempted rape in July 2023.
