- His parents separated when he was a young kid.
- He was raised by his maternal grandfather who was like a father to him.
- In 2007, he co-founded the British music group, Kid British, which had 6 members along with him. He was also tasked with vocals.
- In 2012, he decided to leave Kid British with their final performance held in Manchester in December 2012.
- In 2014, he announced his A Dream for Dreamer’s Tour in the UK. The tickets for his performance in London were sold out about 5 weeks in advance.
- He decided to use Bipolar Sunshine as his stage name because it best reflects his moods that swing from severe self-doubt to optimism filled buzz.
- While growing up, he dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player but failed to impress clubs after giving trials.
