Candice Dupree is an American professional basketball player who has represented Chicago Sky (2006-2009), Phoenix Mercury (2010-2016), and Indiana Fever (2017-Present) in the WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association). In her debut WNBA season (2006), she was named in both the WNBA ‘All-Rookie Team’ and the WNBA ‘All-Star Team’. She repeated the latter feat in 2007, 2009, 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2019. In 2014, she won the WNBA Championship with Phoenix Mercury. At the international level, she was an integral member of the United States’ squads that won the ‘Gold’ medal at the World University Games (2005), and the FIBA (Fédération Internationale de Basketball) World Championship for Women (2010, 2014). During the WNBA off-season, she has represented clubs and teams such as WBC WisÅ‚a Kraków (2007–2009) in Poland, Good Angels KoÅ¡ice (2009–2011) in Slovakia, WBC Spartak Moscow Region (2011–2013) in Russia, Dynamo Kursk (2013–2014) in Russia, Zhejiang Golden Bulls (2014–2015) in China, Nadezhda Orenburg (2015) in Russia, ZVVZ USK Praha (2016–2017) in Czechia, and Sopron Basket (2018–2019) in Hungary. With WBC WisÅ‚a Kraków, she won the PLKK League Championship in 2008 and was named the series’ MVP (Most Valuable Player). She had also won a national championship Good Angels KoÅ¡ice.
