Chad started training for mixed martial arts fight with the Team Alpha Male after his collegiate wrestling. Chad never stops training and trains the whole year round. He has a planned schedule for his training.

Usually, his training at the Team Alpha Male’s gym begins at 9:30 in the morning. The workout is intense with lots of cardio and weight training with heavy equipment.

Then again around 2 in the afternoon, he has a session with Master Thong followed with kickboxing and 3 miles run. At times, he works out with Coach Duane Ludwig. As for his diet, he takes food of about 5,000 calories per day while avoiding all the greasy delights.

1. He started wrestling when he was 5 years old.
2. His parents divorced when he was a baby. His mother left them and he was raised by his father.
3. On July 29, 2012, Chad was charged for an alleged involvement in a bar fight in his hometown of Hanford, California. The charges were dropped after Chad paid the fine.
4. He considers his father as his hero.
5. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and any outdoor activities, along with his friends and family.
6. In case a film based on his life was to be made, he would want Tom Hardy and Jennifer Lawrence to play him and his girlfriend’s characters.
7. On July 20, 2016, Chad was found positive for GHRP-6, a growth hormone release stimulator by USADA and was suspended for 2 years, until June 10, 2018.
