- Darci loved to sing as a child but was shy to sing in front of a crowd.
- As a child, she participated in the International Cinderella Scholarship Program and was crowned International Mini Miss at that pageant and also got to meet International Teen titleholder Laryssa Bonacquisti, who was also a ventriloquist.
- It was Laryssa Bonacquisti who proved out to be an inspiration for Darci and she was really drawn to ventriloquism.
- After practicing the tips given by Laryssa, Darci asked her parents to get her a puppet but her mother was not very thrilled as she told Darci that she was a singer and not a ventriloquist.
- In 2014, she secured the first position in Edmond’s Got Talent after just a month of preparation.
- In 2017, she took part in the 12th season of the famous TV reality show, America’s Got Talent, and emerged as a winner.
