Before breaking into the senior national team in 2009, he had represented the West Indies at the Under-19 ICC Cricket World Cup in 2008. In the Caribbean domestic circuit, he has played for his home country of Trinidad and Tobago (2007–Present) across all 3 formats. Darren Bravo Facts

  1. A dynamic top-order batsman in the limited-overs versions of the sport, Darren has been featured in franchise-based T20 leagues around the world, turning out for Deccan Chargers (2012) and Kolkata Knight Riders (2017) in the IPL (Indian Premier League); Trinbago Knight Riders (2013–Present) in the CPL (Caribbean Premier League); Comilla Victorians (2017) in the BPL (Bangladesh Premier League); and Multan Sultans (2018) in the PSL (Pakistan Super League).
  2. As of October 2021, he had held the record for the highest 3rd-wicket partnership in ODI history (258 runs). The record was set in August 2014 when he had joined Denesh Ramdin on the crease with the West Indies struggling at 12/2 in the 5th over of an ODI match against Bangladesh. Their partnership was broken only in the 43rd over at the score of 270. The West Indies went on to put a mammoth score of 338 runs in 50 overs, eventually winning the match by 91 runs and clinching the 3-match ODI series by a margin of 3-0.
  3. In October 2016, he had become the first batsman in history to score a century in the 4th innings of a day/night test match when he had scored 116 against Pakistan. This was just the 2nd test match in history to have been played in the day/night format and his score of 116 had made him the first-ever left-handed batsman to have scored a hundred in a day/night test match.
