Daveigh Chase was an American actress, singer, and model who came to the limelight after being cast as Samantha Darko in the cult film Donnie Darko (2001). She gained further popularity by performing as a voice artist in a number of movies, including the Disney feature film Lilo & Stitch (2002), where she provided the voice of Lilo Pelekai, which fetched her numerous honors such as the Annie Awards in 2003 for “Outstanding Voice Acting in an Animated Feature Production”.
