Deron Williams is an American former professional basketball player who had represented the Utah Jazz (2005–2011), the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets (2011–2015), the Dallas Mavericks (2015–2017), and the Cleveland Cavaliers (2017) in the National Basketball Association (NBA), as a point guard. He had been picked 3rd overall in the 1st round of the 2005 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. He had also turned out for BeĹźiktaĹź J.K. of the Turkish Basketball League during the 2011 NBA lockout. Representing the United States, he had won the ‘Gold’ medal at both the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics.
