Diana Rigg is an English actress who rose to fame by her role as Emma Peel in the TV series The Avengers (1965-1968). One of her prominent roles was as Countess Teresa di Vicenzo, wife of James Bond in the 1969 spy film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. She has appeared as Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (1968), as Lady Holiday in The Great Muppet Caper (1981), and as Arlena Marshall in Evil Under the Sun (1982).
