Jessie Fleming is a Canadian professional soccer player who made a name for herself with her crafty playmaking skills as a teenager and made her debut for the senior national women’s team at the age of just 15 years and 278 days. - Jessie began her college soccer career with the UCLA Bruins in 2016 and scored 2 goals in her very first appearance for the team. In her first year with the team, she was their leading goalscorer with 11 goals in 19 games and was among only 2 freshmen who received All-America honors that year.
- In her sophomore year, she scored 6 goals and recorded 8 assists, helping her team reach the College Cup final. Although it came in a losing cause, she scored a goal in the final game and was selected as a finalist for the Hermann Trophy (annual award to honor the United States’ top college soccer players).
- She was the captain of the Canadian national team that finished as runner-up at the 2013 CONCACAF Women’s Under-17 Championship. She was named in the tournament’s ‘Best XI’ and was awarded the ‘Golden Ball’ award for being the tournament’s MVP.
- When she made her senior national team debut for Canada in 2013, she was the 2nd youngest player ever to represent Canada.
