Jessie James Decker Workout and Diet Plan

Jessie James Decker is one of those honest celebrities who know how to keep fit and spill the beans quite easily. She recently opened up on what workout routine she is following and what diet plan is helping her stay fit. She also opened up about losing pregnancy weight, her diet indulgence, and shared some excellent workout advice. Read it all right here.

Feeling Wonderful

The mother of two says that she feels more body confident after being a mother. She also thinks that she looks and feels better now. She also shared that her body is in the best shape it has ever been. When she was younger, she used to rely on the young girl genetics and didn’t pay much attention to eating healthy foods. Now, she is paying attention to what she eats, and the result is that she feels leaner and healthier.

Workout Routine

The American County singer says that she works out for at least two or three times a week. Her preferred exercises are circuit training and heavy lifting. She particularly likes circuit training because it’s quick and effective. When she is working out like that, she does it for just 20-30 minutes.

She also likes the fact that while doing circuit training, she can change the workouts. Her preference is to hit it so hard at the gym that she is shaking and sweating when the intense workouts end. When she feels a little sore the next day, she takes it as a sign that she worked out in the right manner. She also likes doing yoga at times.

Losing Pregnancy Weight

The songwriter thinks that every mother has that moment when she is discharged from a hospital and gets home, looks in the mirror and worries about how she is going to get rid of the pregnancy weight. She also had that moment, but she snapped out of it when she realized that worrying about the weight was silly when she had to take care of a newborn and breastfeed him/her.

She focused on giving the best care to her baby rather than fussing about losing 30 lbs. in a week. In her opinion, every mother should take time to lose pregnancy weight when she wants and should not rush it. She followed this principle as well.

Workout Advice

The beauty has some wonderful workout advice for her fans as well. She wants you to understand that you just need 20 minutes a day for exercise. In these 20 minutes, you need to do high-speed circuits, and you are free to use some weights. You can do circuit training anywhere you like, she has done it in the hotel room as well.

She also advises you to write a list of little circuits that you need to do like 10 push ups, 20 jumping jacks, etc. You can repeat the circuit over and over again for 20 minutes. By the end of this time, you will have broken a sweat.

Energizer Bunny

The wife of Eric Decker is so athletic that her professional athlete husband sometimes finds it hard to beat her. They recently did a workout with his trainer, and he was huffing and puffing while she was not. Talking about this, the diva says that she has a lot of energy and she will probably be like that even when she grows old.

South Beach Diet

The stunner is following a South Beach Diet and likes it because it lets her have good food at home and carry some snacks with her. This diet usually includes loads of veggies, heavy proteins, and some low carbs.

In this diet, she has healthy snacks like bars rather than a bag of Cheetos while traveling. She likes this diet because a person doesn’t need to give up the foods he/she likes and doesn’t starve himself/herself.

Diet Secrets

The brand ambassador of the South Beach Diet says that she loves food that’s fresh and healthy. She also likes having a lot of protein because her body responds well to it.

Morning Indulgence

The morning indulgence of the TV personality includes having double chocolate ricotta muffins with some coffee.

Diet Indulgence

Other foods that she has during a cheat day are bread, cookies, and cheese. Her hubby prefers donuts and cake for indulgence.

Favorite On-The-Go Snack

She is a fan of Bobos Oat Bars as well and calls them yummy.

Small Changes

The fitspiration for scores of people say that making small lifestyle changes matter a lot when hoping to stay fit. Some of the changes she did are switching to organic cane sugar instead of processed sweeteners in her coffee and using plastic 32 oz.

Mason jar hugs full of lemon all day long. She is so hooked to lemon water that she has 4 to 5 refills a day and names it as her only source of hydration.
