1. In the 80s, Julia’s son Stephen Douglas Morley was sentenced to prison time for fraud.
2. Julia was the president of Variety International from 2009 to 2011.
3. She began seeing to the day-to-day running of Miss World Organization in 1968 and following the death of her husband in November 2000, she assumed the position of chairperson.
4. After becoming the chairperson of Miss World, she introduced “Beauty With A Purpose”.  It was created to raise money in support of sick and disadvantaged children.
5. Julia was presented with the Priyadarshini Award for her creation for her Save the Children campaign.
6. She received the Variety Humanitarian Award in 2016.
7. Julia had been appointed as the Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for “charitable and voluntary services to disadvantaged people in the UK and abroad” at the 2022 Birthday Honours.
