Karthik Sivakumar or more commonly Karthi is an Indian film actor who is known for his roles in the movies Aayutha Ezhuthu, Paruthiveeran, Aayirathil Oruvan, Sirutha, All in All Azhagu Raja, Madras, Briyani, Komban, Oopiri, Kaashmora, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, and Kadaikutty Singam. In 2019, he appeared in the movie Dev in a leading role as Dev and in the film Kaithi as Dilli.

1. He worked as a part-time graphic designer during his stay in New York for his higher studies.
2. In 2007, he made his acting debut in Paruthiveeran as the title character, a careless village ruffian. The film won critical acclaim and several accolades including the Filmfare Award for “Best Actor” and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award.
3. He got engaged with his wife Ranjani on April 29, 2011. Their wedding took place at the CODISSIA trade fair complex in Coimbatore.
4. He has been involved in several charities and social service activities. On his 31st birthday, he inaugurated the Makkal Nala Mandram to encourage his fans to become involved in welfare activities. During the event, he donated blood, donated bicycles to handicapped people, sewing machines to women and school bags to children. Karthik also presented a cheque of ₹ 50,000 to YRG Care Centre which was intended to help the AIDS-affected children.
5. In 2011, he became a cause ambassador for promoting awareness of Lysosomal storage disease.
6. In the past, he had adopted a white tiger cub at Vandalur Zoo and contributed ₹72,000 to protect and preserve the animal.
