- She started her career as a child actress and played roles such as Young Valsala in Kakkothikkavile Appooppan Thaadikal, Child in the bus in Yaathrayude Anthyam, and Younger Daughter in Vembanaad.
- Kaveri portrayed the character of Princes Syamantaga in the 1997 Malayalam-language fantasy drama film, Guru, in which she was cast alongside Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Madhupal, Sithara, Sreelakshmi, Nedumudi Venu, and Sreenivasan. Also, the movie became the first Malayalam film submitted by India for the Oscars in the “Best Foreign Language Film” category.
