- She made her first film appearance by playing the role of Varsha Kumaran (an aspiring young wildlife photographer) in the Tamil-language adventure film Thumbaa in 2019. Set against the backdrop of the Western Ghats, the film stars Keerthi alongside Darshan and Dheena.
- For her performance in Thumbaa, Keerthi Pandian won the Femina Award in the “Femina Super Daughter” category in 2019 as well as got nominated in the “Best Female Debut” category at the Zee Cine Awards Tamil, Vikatan Awards, and Edison Awards in 2021.
