They even held a ceremony amongst friends and family in 2005. However, the ceremony was not legally recognized. In 2006, Laila announced that she was pregnant with her first child – a girl named Inez (b. February 2007). Their relationship ended in 2008. In 2011, Nasir was sentenced to nine years in prison on the charges of money-laundering role in a £250 million VAT fraud conspiracy.

2. In the 1990s, Laila worked as a video jockey on Channel V, while there, she was featured in a music video for the band Colour Blind.
