- He grew up around the Bay area.
- Marteen, along with his family, shifted base from Alameda, Alameda County, California to El Cerrito located in Contra Costa County, California. After some time, the family again relocated to Burbank, Los Angeles County, California, United States.
- He self-taught himself to play the piano as well as the guitar by watching YouTube videos when he was only around 12 years old. That was also the time when he started uploading covers of a number of pop songs on his Instagram account.
