- Before he was born, doctors gave him a life expectancy of only 20%.
- At birth, he was so big that a nurse told his mom he looked like a sumo wrestler.
- Motoki lived in Japan for around 3 years before moving back to the United States.
- He was bullied while in Japan, and a classmate even called him “skinny foreigner.” Luckily, after explaining the situation to his teacher, the things changed for the better.
