- In the initial auditions for Menendez: Blood Brothers, he had auditioned for the role of Lyle. He was then called in to read for Eric after which he was called in for a chemistry read as Lyle as well as Eric. Eventually, the casting team and Myko himself felt he was in a good emotional space for the role of Eric.
- Menendez: Blood Brothers was based in Beverly Hills but was shot in freezing cold of Vancouver. So, according to scene settings, he had to wear tennis shorts, which was hard in freezing conditions and his only hope was that tennis scenes would warm him up.
- For his role in Eternity: The Movie, he had to audition opposite screenwriter (Abi-Loutfi) of the movie. The casting team was impressed by his decision to invade Abi-Loutfi’s personal space, and it helped him bag the role.
- While growing up, he participated a lot in musical theatre.
