2. Along with Naomi Amarger, Sandrine Bonnaire, Clotilde Courau, and Zinedine Soualem, Noémie Merlant co-starred as Sonia Bouzaria in the drama film Heaven Will Wait (French: Le Ciel attendra) in 2016. For this role, she was nominated for a César Award for “Most Promising Actress” and a Lumières Award for “Most Promising Actress”.
3. Opposite Adèle Haenel, she co-starred as Marianne (a painter who teaches an art class in France) in the historical romantic drama film Portrait of a Lady on Fire (French: Portrait de la jeune fille en feu) in 2019.
