- Volodymyr Zelenskyy (c. 1995-Present) – Olena was one of the schoolmates of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a politician, former actor, comedian, and the 6th president of Ukraine. Despite being schoolmates, the duo got acquainted much later when Zelenska was studying at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Kryvyi Rih National University. She has said that he knew many of her classmates but not Zelenska herself. They started going out around the year 1995 and after dating for 8 years, the couple got married on September 6, 2003. - She became the first lady of Ukraine on May 20, 2019, and appeared on the cover of the December 2019 issue of the Ukrainian edition of Vogue.
- Olena Zelenska’s initiative to spread the Ukrainian language in the world and the introduction of Ukrainian-language audio guides in the most iconic places was started in June 2020. As a part of the initiative, Ukrainian-language audio guides were launched at the museum of Mount Vernon (the home of George Washington), the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco in California, Versailles, the Sagrada Família, Frederiksborg Castle, the Hundertwasserhaus, Galata Tower, and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.
- She spoke at the Fourth and Fifth Ukrainian Women’s Congresses – a platform that brings together Ukrainian and international public figures, politicians, government officials, experts, and opinion leaders for equal rights for women and men – in November 2020 and September 2021.
