It was reported that Prakruti and the fellow Odia film star were allegedly having an extra-marital affair. The incident took place in the middle of the road and was captured by bystanders. In the video, it can be seen that the actress tries to get away in a parked 3-wheeler but fails to do so as Babushaan’s wife is in hot pursuit of her and continues to assault her. Following the viral incident, Prakruti released a statement saying that the only reason they were traveling together on that day was that they were invited to an event by the Utkal Association and decided to go there together. She further added, that along with Babushaan’s wife, there were also a couple of goons who also attacked her both mentally and physically.
