  1. After his death, Richard’s body was cremated, and the ashes were interred at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.
  2. He made his debut feature film appearance as William Williams in Repeat Performance in 1947.
  3. In 1960, Basehart was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Motion Pictures.
  4. From 1982 to 1986, Basehart narrated the intro to the television show Knight Rider.
  5. His television and film credits included Being There, Mansion of the Doomed, Love Is a Funny Thing, Chato’s Land, Hawaii Five-O, The Bounty Man, The Rebels, Once Upon a Classic, Savage Guns, and Kings of the Sun to name few.
