- One of her earliest works was as Cassandra in the original 1981 West End theatrical production of Cats by Andrew Lloyd Webber. From there, Seeta went on to appear in several productions at the Royal National Theatre, The Royal Exchange, and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
- Seeta made her debut TV show appearance as a Maid in The Cleopatras in 1983. Prior to that, she was cast as a dancer in the feature film Nutcracker in 1982.
- Indrani got her first big break in the entertainment industry as W.P.C. Datta in Nutcracker 1989, alongside the likes of various well-known actors including Graham Cole, Jeff Stewart, Trudie Goodwin.
