Sophie Marceau is a French actress, director, author, and screenwriter. With the intention to earn some money on the side as a model, at the age of 14, she decided to respond to an advertisement that asked teenage girls to take pictures with a casting agency. It was 1980 and Sophie was a fourth-year student at Curie College at that time.
