1. During the shooting of The Real World: California (1993), her first-ever TV show appearance, Tami had become the first reality TV star to have an abortion featured.
2. While she was working on the show, she had formed an all-girl R&B quartet named Reality where she was the lead rapper. They had composed a track called Prisoner Of Your Love but it was never recorded as the group had an uneasy relationship with their producer. The band, which was later renamed Female, did record a couple of songs after this but they never released a studio album.
3. In December 2016, she had co-authored a self-help book titled Mistress 101: The Guide to Keeping Your Relationship Cheatproof.
4. In 2018, she had released a series of videos on Instagram, titled Bonnet Chronicles, which was later adapted into a scripted series for TIDAL, a Norwegian subscription-based music, podcast, and video streaming service.
