  1. Originally, Uday was from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. Later, Uday relocated to Fazilka at the age of 11, where he represented the Under-14, Under-16, and Under-19 cricket teams.
  2. The earliest post that Uday uploaded to his Instagram account was on December 19, 2019.
  3. It was his father’s dream to have his son play for the Indian cricket team as he too at one point in his younger years wanted to be a professional cricketer. He went on to run a cricket academy.
  4. Punjab captain Mandeep Singh discovered him and gifted him a bat which he used to pass his fitness test.
