  1. A product of FC Barcelona’s La Masia youth system, he joined the organization at the age of 11 from UFB Jàbac Terrassa and Terrassa FC.

  13. It was announced on May 28, 2019, that Xavi would take over as manager of the Qatari sports club Al Sadd on a two-year contract. He went on to lead the club to 7 trophies during his 97 games in charge of the team.
  14. Replacing Ronald Koeman, Xavi Hernández was appointed as the new manager of his former club Barcelona on November 6, 2021, on a contract until June 2024.
