- His major-label debut album (third overall) titled American Heartbreak was released by Warner Records on May 20, 2022. The album debuted at #5 on the US Billboard 200 charts and was certified ‘Platinum’ by the RIAA.
- His single Heading South went viral after it was uploaded on YouTube in September 2019. Zach recorded the song in his Navy barracks in 95-degree heat. As of early 2024, the song has amassed over 26 million views on YouTube.
- At the age of 17, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served as an active-duty member for 8 years. During that time, he earned the rating of Aviation Ordnanceman Second Class (AO2).
