1. He was born into a family of wrestlers and became part of the third generation of the Andrade family to compete in lucha libre.
2. On October 3, 2003, Andrade El Idolo made his professional wrestling debut. It was a month before his 14th birthday after his father signed a waiver for the local boxing and wrestling commission to issue him a license. He subsequently started working under the ring name “Brillante Jr.” in honor of his father. He used the name from 2003 through early 2007.
3. He signed with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in the year 2007 and made his CMLL in-ring debut on February 27, working as “Brillante” just like his father had.
4. His ring name was changed to “La Sombra” (“The Shadow”) by CMLL in June 2007.
5. As he teamed up with Místico, they went on to defeat Heavy Metal and Super Nova in the first round, Dr. Wagner Jr. and Mascara Purpura in the semi-final, and the team of Último Guerrero and Euforia in the finals in order to win the 2007 Tornero Gran Alternativa.
6. He then teamed up with El Sagrado and Volador Jr. and they defeated Mr. Águila, Damián 666, and Halloween (collectively known as Los Perros del Mal (“The Bad Dogs”)) to win the Mexican National Trios Championship.
7. Andrade El Idolo was picked in 2010 to be the CMLL representative for New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s (NJPW) Best of the Super Juniors XVII (BOSJ) tournament that was held from May 30 to June 16, 2010, in Japan.
8. He signed a developmental contract with WWE on November 19, 2015.
9. He has been cast as a playable character in the video games WWE 2K19 and WWE 2K20.
