1. She started singing publicly at the age of 8 by performing in the choir of Santa Luzia Church in Rio de Janeiro. Her maternal grandparents had got her in the choir.
2. She started performing professionally at the age of 17. The same year, she was declared the winner of Revelation of Music award.
