- In 2012, he made his first film appearance as Shakti in the Tamil language suspense thriller film Perumaan and The Times of India noted that “Arjun makes a confident debut”.
- He made his Telugu film debut by playing the character named Ajay, Krishna’s brother who committed suicide due to lung cancer caused by chain-smoking, in the 2017 action thriller film Oxygen. It stars Gopichand, Raashi Khanna, Anu Emmanuel, and Jagapathi Babu.
- Arjun Das was cast as Anbu, the film’s antagonist who is Adaikalam’s brother and a cocaine addict gang leader, in the 2019 Tamil-language action thriller film Kaithi. It is inspired by the 1976 American action thriller film Assault on Precinct 13.
