- She has recalled that when she was in school, she could not decide what she wanted to pursue as a career, and for quite a while, had considered joining the military.
- Camilla had worked for The Halo Trust charity organization before she appeared on Love Island, having joined the charitable institution in 2013 and having traveled to Cambodia as part of her service.
- In 2015, she underwent operational training for 6 months before getting her explosive ordinance disposal qualifications. Her job had entailed clearing minefields and she has removed landmines in Afghanistan as well as Azerbaijan.
