Carl Nassib is an American former professional football player who has represented, as a defensive end, the Cleveland Browns (2016–2017), the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2018–2019), and the Las Vegas Raiders (2020–Present), in the NFL (National Football League). He had been selected 65th overall, by the Cleveland Browns, in the 3rd round of the 2016 NFL Draft. In June 2021, during Pride Month, he had released a statement on Instagram where he had come out as gay, becoming the first active NFL player to publicly declare so.

- At the Malvern Preparatory School, Carl had represented the school team as an offensive tackle and defensive end and was a 3-year letterman in high school football. He had led his team to a 7–4 win-loss record in his junior and senior years. He had also excelled in other sports and had lettered twice in basketball and thrice in track and field. In his senior year, he was made the team’s basketball captain and had led them to a 24–7 win-loss record.
- In his senior year at the Pennsylvania State University (2015), he was named a unanimous ‘All-American’ and the Big Ten Conference’s ‘Nagurski-Woodson Defensive Player of the Year’.
