- Channing first came into the spotlight in 2014 when, as a teenager, he won WWE‘s ‘Show Us Your Superstar’ – a talent-hunt contest. Over the next few years, he trained at wrestling academies under the tutelage of some renowned former professional wrestlers.
- He made his professional wrestling debut on August 24, 2019, and won his bout. He then made a few appearances on Raw (the prime brand of the WWE) later that year, as an enhancement talent.
- After the COVID-19 pandemic heavily impacted most contact sports around the world in 2020, Channing joined All Elite Wrestling (an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida) in 2021.
- In March 2022, he returned to the WWE and signed a developmental contract – getting assigned to the WWE Performance Center (the official professional wrestling school system of the WWE). He made his debut on NXT – a developmental brand of the WWE –in April 2022.

- In October 2023, at NXT: Halloween Havoc (another professional wrestling event produced by the WWE), Channing lost this title – ending his reign at 86 days. However, in a rematch on November 14, 2023, he regained the NXT Tag Team Championship. In February 2024, he lost this title, ending his second reign at 91 days.
