Conan O’Brien is an American television host, comedian, writer, podcaster, and producer who is best known for hosting the late-night talk shows Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, and Conan. In the year 2010, he was included in Time‘s list of “100 Most Influential People” and with the retirement of David Letterman on May 20, 2015, O’Brien became the longest-working of all current late-night talk show hosts in the United States, at 26 years.

Lisa initially wanted to leave the Improv classes but Conan inspired her to stick around and eventually joined the Los Angeles based renowned Groundlings comedy troupe.
  2. Lynn Kaplan (1994-1999) – In 1994, O’Brien started going out with Lynn Kaplan, who worked as a talent booker for his talk show. By 1996, they had moved in together in an apartment at the popular Manhattan building, which counted supermodels such as Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista amongst its other tenants.
  3. Ann ‘Liza’ Powel (2000-Present) – O’Brien first met his wife Ann ‘Liza’ Powel in 2000 at his talk show. She was working in an advertising skit for Foote, Cone & Belding.   1. While studying at Harvard University, he used to serve as the drummer for the rock band called The Bad Claims. He can also play the guitar.
  2. While at Harvard, he served as the editor of the Harvard Lampoon for 2 consecutive years. He was the second person to achieve the distinction in Harvard’s esteemed history and no one had done so for 85 years before him.
  3. When he was initially signed up for hosting duties for a talk show, Late Night, the show producers weren’t sure about him, so they used to offer him a contract on weekly basis.
  4. His show was canceled and brought back in the same single night as TV executives wanted to find a replacement before taking it off. However, he managed to make his show successful, thus, offsetting the need for another show.
  5. After one Finnish person told him that he looks like then-President Tarja Halonen in one of the episodes of his show, he launched a campaign to support Halonen and even devised a skit for the same. Eventually, Halonen met him and thanked him by gifting Moomin dolls to his family.
  6. He holds the distinction of being the last guest on the talk show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
