Haechan Facts

1. He used to be known as Donghyuck but later changed his name to Haechan.
2. Haechan got into the pre-debut training group SM Rookies through the SM Global Auditions for which his mother encouraged him.
3. He was introduced as a member of SM Rookies on July 17, 2014.
4. On July 1, 2016, he became the member of NCT‘s 2nd subunit called the NCT 127.
5. He was later included in the band’s 3rd subunit, NCT Dream on August 18, 2016.
6. He said in an interview with MTV that he is the worst arm wrestler of the group.
7. His favorite pastime hobby is computer gaming but he claims that he is very bad at it. He also loves to play football.
8. Haechan is often called Donkey by other band members as he looks like a monkey and his name is Dong-hyuck.
