Holly Sonders is a former American professional golfer and a TV broadcaster with the network FOX. She was a prolific golfer at college and university level, and also participated in the United States Women’s Amateur Championship in 2006. After a knee surgery limited her playing career, she utilized her golfing experience and journalism degree to work as a TV reporter and analyst with networks like WBNS-10TV, Big Ten Network, and KATV. In 2011, she joined the ‘Golf Channel’ and became part of the hit talk show Morning Drive.   1. She was an accomplished junior golfer and won her first organized golfing tournament at the age of just 7. At high school, she earned all-league and all-district honors for 4 years in a row and was named league and district MVP (Most Valuable Player).
  2. She also triumphed at the ‘American Junior Golf Association’ and ‘UCT National Championship’ tournaments in 2001.
  3. While at university, she participated in golf tournaments in all her 4 years and led the team named Spartans to a Big Ten Conference championship in 2007.
  4. While at the Golf Channel, Holly became popular for her programs like the School of Golf and Playing Lesson with the Pros.
