1. She was an accomplished junior golfer and won her first organized golfing tournament at the age of just 7. At high school, she earned all-league and all-district honors for 4 years in a row and was named league and district MVP (Most Valuable Player).
2. She also triumphed at the ‘American Junior Golf Association’ and ‘UCT National Championship’ tournaments in 2001.
3. While at university, she participated in golf tournaments in all her 4 years and led the team named Spartans to a Big Ten Conference championship in 2007.
