Ilja Dragunov Facts
- He was 5 years old when he migrated to Germany along with his mother and neither he nor his mother could speak the German language.
- In order to support his family, Ilja Dragunov started working odd jobs at a very young age and before entering the world of wrestling, he had already worked at a pizza parlor and petrol station.
- At the German Wrestling Federation (GWF) training school, he trained under the guidance of veteran Rick Baxxter and Axel Tischer (who has wrestled for WWE under the ring name Alexander Wolfe).
- It was in the year 2012 that he made his in-ring debut and the following year, he joined wXw as a regular.
- In 2019, Ilja Dragunov made his debut for WWE’s NXT UK brand on the May 15 episode (taped April 19) in which he defeated Jack Starz.
