Jalen Green is an American professional basketball player who has represented the Houston Rockets (2021–Present), as a shooting guard, in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted 2nd overall in the 1st round of the 2021 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets. At the youth level, representing the United States, he had clinched the ‘Gold’ medal at the 2019 FIBA (Fédération Internationale de Basketball Amateur) Under-19 Basketball World Cup held in Greece, the 2018 FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup held in Argentina, and the 2017 FIBA Americas Under-16 Championship held in Argentina. In the 2nd of those tournaments, was named the competition’s ‘Most Valuable Player’ (MVP).

He had also earned ‘MaxPreps Freshman All-American Second Team’ and ‘CIF Central Section Rookie of the Year’ honors.
