  2. As he graduated high school, Jayden Daniels was considered a 4-star recruit in California and was ranked number two in the nation for dual-threat quarterbacks.
  3. After graduating high school, he committed to play for Arizona State University on December 13, 2018.
  4. In 2019, Jayden Daniels was an honorable mention for the Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Player of the Year.
  5. At the 2019 Sun Bowl, he led the Arizona State Sun Devils to a 20–14 victory.
  6. Jayden Daniels started all 4 games in a shortened 2020 season and led his side to a 2–2 record.
  7. Before the 2021 season, it was announced by the NCAA that Arizona State was under investigation due to multiple recruiting violations and it was reported by Pete Thamel that Daniels’ mom allegedly paid more than $1,100 to give flights to recruits.
  8. He transferred to Louisiana State University to play for the LSU Tigers in 2022.
  9. With the LSU Tigers, Jayden Daniels passed for 372 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 234 yards and two touchdowns in a 52–35 win over the Florida Gators on November 11, 2023. With this, he set the record as the first player in FBS history to record at least 350 passing yards and 200 rushing yards in the same game.
  10. After throwing for over 3,800 yards and 40 touchdowns, he was honored with the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2023.
  11. In 2023, Jayden Daniels won the Heisman Trophy and became the third player in LSU history to win the award after Joe Burrow and Billy Cannon.
