Josh Windass Facts

  1. He was dropped by Huddersfield Town in 2012 after suffering a leg injury. As a result, he worked at a construction site for the next couple of months for as little as £50 a shift.
  2. Josh scored his first professional hat-trick in January 2018 which helped Rangers with a 3-0 victory over Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup.
  3. Less than a month later in February 2018, he scored his 2nd treble which gave Rangers a 5-3 win over Hamilton Academical.
  4. His father Dean had attempted suicide twice in January 2012 after struggling with alcohol and depression over his retirement woes.
