1. At the 2018 Coachella Music Festival, she and Woah Vicky clashed with Bhad Bhabie. Bhabie claimed that Tay and Vicky had insulted her friend, which sparked a physical fight between Bhabie and Vicky. Tay was seen cheering Vicky and hurling abuses and insults at Bhabie during the backstage physical scuffle.
2. Her Twitter account was suspended by the social media giant because of her regular use of obscene language and racist slurs.
3. In May 2018, she claimed on her Instagram account that she was placed under house arrest. She didn’t reveal why she was placed under house arrest but encouraged her fans to use the hashtag #freeliltay.
4. In 2017, YouTuber RiceGum accused Tay of bullying his younger sister. Tay responded with her own set of allegations, thus, sparking a new feud.
5. Her mother Angela was fired from her job at Vancouver-based real estate agency Pacific Place Group for having assisted Tay in creating her videos.
