Marcus Peters is an American football cornerback who played college football with the Washington Huskies and was picked by the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Marcus Peters studied at McClymonds High School, a public high school located in the West Oakland neighborhood of Oakland, California. During his time there, he played football (as a cornerback) and ran track. He scored seven interceptions and six touchdowns on kick or punt returns as a senior. As he led his school to a perfect season with a 12–0 record, he was named the MVP of the Oakland Athletic League. Moreover, he competed as a sprinter in track & field and won the 100-meter (10.87 s) and 200-meter (22.91 s) events at the Oakland Athletic League Championships as a senior.
